Sing along and Dance with Seattle's own Cornucopia Concert Band! Close your eyes and imagine the band playing under a gazebo. It's a summer evening concert in the park in 1928, the height of the Roaring Twenties. The band plays a rousing march, a rag, a popular dance hall tune with vocal soloist. Settle in and sit back. The concert is about to begin.
The first set of sound files are from our first tape titled, "The Cornucopia Concert Band, Music of America in the early 1900's". These are MPEG audio files (*.mp3) are sampled as layer 3 , 44100Hz stereo, 128kbps so they should play very cleanly across the Internet. These are the full length songs from the tape originally released in 1987.

The second set of sound bites are from our second tape titled, "Music of America Volume II." They were copied to WAV and AIF file formats with a sampling rate of 11.25KHz in MONO to conserve file size. So sorry if they sound a little "cheesy". All of the song samples are about 1 minute in length.
The following complete MP3 files are from a live performance with the Cascadian Chorale from a few years ago. These are not available on a tape or CD anywhere. This is the only place to hear this rare performance. - JB, 21 Mar 2001
